Sébastien Izambard Official Fan Club (2)

Since the Sébastien Izambard Official Fan Club will soon be a registered non profit organisation, "full membership" for fans is definitely something we want to implement. At the moment, the team and board are discussing which form such a supportive membership would take.

Until the concept of Fan Club membership has been finalised, we welcome all fans from Sébastien and Il Divo to our Facebook Page, Instagram and Twitter. For those who wish to follow and support the charities, there's also our Il Divo Fans for Charity Facebook Group.

Yes. We are the official fan club and are infinitely grateful that our activities and our charity projects are actively supported by Sébastien in the following ways:

  • upon approving legal registration of the fan club as a non profit association, Sébastien has generously retained his title of Honorary President of our organisation
  • availability of exclusive signed merchandise items for www.ildivofansforcharity.com auctions and raffles for his charities
  • posting periodically about our activities on his social media accounts
  • keeping informed about fan fundraiser and project results as well as fan club related activities

Please note this does not mean that we can accept/forward messages or gifts for Sébastien, nor is he involved in the day to day management of the social media channels of our club; this is done by the club team members. Sébastien has his own personal social media accounts he posts to, which you can find here.

Il Divo Fans for Charity (9)

We welcome all ideas for fundraising or raising awareness for any of our charities. Why contact us when you are thinking of fundraising for a Divo Charity? The aim of the Il Divo Fans for Charity is to help and support fans who wish to fundraise legally, practically and by form of PR to make their actions known among fans. This is what we can do, among other things:

  • Help you with official/legal/copyright permissions when needed: the Sébastien Izambard Official Fan Club has arrangements and/or contracts with Sony Music, professional photographers, fan photographers, promoters... and hence makes sure your fundraising is officially endorsed.
  • Help you with practical arrangements: what would be the best timing to run a certain fundraiser? How do I set up a fundraising page? We can provide you with answers to all these questions and more.
  • Expand your audience: we will share your fundraiser on our websites, social media, newsletter and affliated pages, reaching 1000s of international fans in one go.
  • Take care of technical details for you. For example, did you created a handmade item you wish to sell? We put it in our store for you and international viewing, ordering, paying,... are all done automatically. Our team will make sure to tell you where and when to dispatch and keep you informed of the processes.
  • Report the results of your fundraiser to Sébastien and the charity or charities. We make sure results are documented, archived and reported to all concerned parties. Name and country of the fundraiser is included by default, unless they express the desire to remain anonymous.

If you would like to fundraise, please contact us at hello@ildivofansforcharity.com with details.

When your project has been approved and planned, in collaboration with the charity or charities the proceeds will go to, you will receive an endorsement letter from the Sébastien Izambard Official Fan Club detailing:

  •  the nature of the action
  •  the timing
  •  the people responsible
  •  the charity or charities receiving the proceeds from the action/item(s) and the way in which they will be donated
  •  the official permissions obtained/copyrights cleared

This letter is proof of fair and legal dealings as well as the report of shared responsibilities of the club and the person creating/supplying the action/items. To run a fundraiser with an endorsement letter means you agree the raised total will be added to the Il Divo Fans for Charity total (effectively raised totals cannot be withdrawn once added). You equally agree to keep our Fan Charity Coordinator up to date with progress and the result of your fundraiser.

Please bear in mind that we cannot allow any profits to be made from fundraisers. All proceeds must go to one or more of our supported charities. Equally, you must make sure that what you create is in accordance with international copyright (and other) laws. If you're unsure, just contact us and we can help you with legal as well as practical arrangements.

Any violation of the terms agreed on or our general Terms of Use will lead to steps being taken.

We welcome all original ideas, hand made as well as other items, for temporary or permanent sale, or for auction or raffle via our store.

Please contact us at hello@ildivofansforcharity.com for details.

When your project has been approved and planned, in collusion with the charity or charities the proceeds will go to, you will receive an endorsement letter from the Sébastien Izambard Official Fan Club detailing:

Any violation of the terms agreed on or our general Terms of Use will lead to steps being taken.

The Il Divo Fans for Charity online store provides items created by fans being sold for charity, as well as our auctions and raffles. Each item details who is responsible for its creation and shipping, as well as to which charities the proceeds are donated and in which way.

To provide fans with a total shopping experience, the store has integrated ordering and payment options. Buyers are able to follow up their orders' status and contact our merchandise department at any time for questions. Other features include:

  • Automatic currency conversion (other currencies can be added on demand from returning customers), updated in real time with European Central Bank exchange rates
  • Address book functionality - enter your address details once and the system remembers them for your next purchase
  • Automatic flat rate shipping calculation depending on product and global buyer location
  • Product variations: any Product Detail link will take you to a page where you can choose different styles, models, and sizes when available

Payment methods include:

  • Paypal
  • Bank transfer (your order will manually be set to completed when we have received the bank payment)
  • Credit Card (via Paypal, for people who don't have a Paypal account)

The Sébastien Izambard Official Fan Club, owner of the Il Divo Fans for Charity store, does not make ANY profit out of items sold, and neither do the people creating them. Proceeds go directly to one or more of our supported organisations. Each person creating items for the store receives an official endorsement letter in which these as well as other arrangements are detailed as proof of fair dealings. For legal or financial questions, please contact anne-lies@sebastienizambard.com.

We strive to give you an integrated, smooth shopping experience. This means we need to be able to link orders to address and payment details for easy follow up. Other account features include:

  •  Follow up and review all your orders on your account page
  •  Save your regularly used shipping and billing address(es) to your address book so you don't have to re-enter details for every subsequent order

Account rules on the store are as follows:

  •  The easiest is for you to log in before you order - all will run smoothly
  •  If you have an account but aren't logged in and you enter your account email address, your order will automatically be linked to your existing account
  •  If you don't have an account with the email address your ordering with, one will be created automatically and the log in details will be sent to you via mail with your order confirmation

For any questions on accounts, forgotten passwords,... please contact our merchandising team at sales@ildivofansforcharity.com

  • Paypal
  • Bank transfer (your order will manually be set to completed when we have received the bank payment)

For any questions regarding orders or payments, contact our merchandising team at sales@ildivofansforcharity.com

Yes, through a Paypal service that allows people without a Paypal account to pay with their credit card through their servers.

As payment method, you need to select the Paypal option (the credit card icons are located below). There, choose "Check out as guest"; the Paypal website will ask you to enter your credit card details for a one off payment, without creating a Paypal account.

In case of questions, please contact our merchandising team at sales@ildivofansforcharity.com or send us a message.

Because of its Belgian roots, the IDFC Store's default currency is EUR (€). Customers can change the store views (product catalogue, shopping cart) to their preferred currency by using the "Select your currency" menu in the sidebar of the store. For logged in customers, their preference will be remembered for subsequent store visits.

Is the conversion always correct?
Yes, our store automatically synchronises with international exchange rates as published by the European Central Bank (ECB). The valid rate for a purchase is always the one at the moment of purchase. The price is no longer adapted after an order has been placed.

My currency of preference is not listed
For reasons of server load and website performance, we don't add automatic conversion for all of the world's available currencies. Please contact us informing us of your preferred currency, and we can add it to the store for you.

I have another question regarding currency conversion
Send us a message or contact our sales team at sales@ildivofansforcharity.com

WHERE TO FIND AUCTIONS

Our auctions will be announced in advance via news, newsletter, Facebook and Twitter. When the auction is live, a direct link will be shared on social media and on the www.ildivofansforcharity.com homepage. Logged in members can find an Auctions menu item in the member menu and get an overview of their active auctions, where they've been outbid etc.

GENERAL RULES

  • Auctions are open for account holders all over the world
  • Auctions are always held in EURO
  • Auction pages are always available in English only (to prevent technical glitches)
  • Only logged in users can see current pricing and bid info on an auction
  • Full usernames are NEVER disclosed in the bid list so bidding is anonymous (except for your own username when you're logged in and you've placed a bid)
  • The site admin (and only the site admin) gets emails when auctions open, close, and when bids are placed
  • All bids are final and cannot be revoked, not even by the site admin.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

While all site visitors can see auctions, only logged in members can see current price status and enter bids. Creating a free member account is fast and easy (you can also choose to sign up via your Facebook or Twitter profile). If you have an account but have lost your password, click "Forgot your password" or mail hello@ildivofansforcharity.com.

WHAT DOES AN AUCTION LOOK LIKE?

A user who is not logged in will see the following items on an auction page:

  • Auction item title
  • Auction item image & description
  • Charity the item is auctioned off for
  • The bid list with masked usernames of previous bids

Logged in users will see the above info plus the following:

  • A live countdown to when the auction automatically ends
  • The current price of the item
  • A form field to either type a bid or agree to the proposed bid (1 euro higher than the current price)
  • The Place a bid button to conform the bid entered in the field

BIDDING AND BEING OUTBID

If you enter a bid that's higher than the proposed bid of +1 euro to current price, the system will automatically up your bid with 1 euro until you reach the bid amount you set. So how does it work?
Say an item is at 10 € and you really want it so you bid 20 € immediately. The bid will be raised with 1 and you will be the highest bidder for 11 , but the system will remember your bid of 20 .
When someone else, let's call him or her user1, bids 12 € on the same item, instead of becoming the highest bidder, user1 will get an immediate notice that he or she has been outbid. The user1 bid of 12 will be registered, but since you bid 20 before, you will automatically become the highest bidder again, for 13 . This will go on until someone bids 21 €, then he or she will become the highest bidder (you can of course always outbid by placing a new bid).
If more people enter the same automatic maximum bid, who entered it first will have precedence and become highest bidder on reaching said amount.
ALL BIDS ARE FINAL.

WHEN AN AUCTION ENDS

Auctions end automatically when the countdown is over - the site admin has NO control over the automated process of closing an auction. The auction page will continue to be visible but without a countdown and bid options for both logged in members and visitors.
SIFC does not handle your money or financial transactions to ensure the money goes straight to the charity. When an auction ends and you are the highest bidder, please donate the winning amount to the charity in question via online donation ASAP.

You will receive an email from them confirming your donation. Please forward this email to hello@ildivofansforcharity.com and include your username and postal address details.
When we have receveid all these details, we will ship your won item(s) to you and let you know when this has happened. Everyone happy!
If an item incurs no bids during an active auction period, the item will be retained for the next auction.

NO EXTRA COSTS

100% of the proceeds will go DIRECTLY to the charity/charities and there are NO extra costs for bidders or winners. Packaging, postage etc. (when applicable) are handled by the Fan Club.

Buying Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets can be bought via our IDFC Store. The store will detailed what is to be raffled and when, and how long tickets are available.
No shipping cost will be added to the total price, but we need a shipping address to be able to send the raffle item(s) to the winner(s) (postage is paid by the Fan Club).

After buying a certain amount of tickets, you will get an order confirmation.
Orders are double checked manually, and your ticket numbers will be sent to you maximum 3 days after you've paid for your purchase. If this is not the case, please forward your order confrmation to hello@ildivofansforcharity.com.

Raffle Draws

Even though we are now a registered non profit organisation, we let the draw take place by the charities themselves, to ensure everything is legal, and the draw is fair (lwas on raffles are different in each country, but most often, private individuals are not allowed to raffle off items). The charity will receive the list with names and ticket numbers from the Fan Club admin and then video the draw. After the draw, the Fan Club will contact the winner(s) to double check their address data, and dispatch the item(s).

Donation of Raffle Ticket Money

The money raised will go to the organisation in question (depending on the raffle) its directly and in its entirity by Fan Club, once ticket sales are closed. The total will be reported.

Participation of Fan Club Team Members

In case of an interest of one or more Fan Club Team members in the raffle items, the admin will be the only one managing the ticket number list, so the other members are free to enter. The ticket number list is kept outside the websites, so team member access rights do not grant access to this kind of list.

Il Divo Concert & M&G (14)

It depends on local venues and organisers, they will say whether your allowed to or not. In Japan for example, the rules against capturing performances in any way are very strict.
If you do use your phone please be discreet, so it won't affect anyone else.

No, you can wear what you feel comfortable in, however, if you're doing a Meet & Greet it's the perfect excuse to dress up (also, they could be filming their latest DVD so you could just be famous - you want to look your best for that!).

Usually one or two weeks before the show, keep the email safe as it contains your timings and in some cases, your laminate which you need to get in. You will also need to take some form of ID, as M&G packages are personal and non-transferrable.

Not during the actual M&G. They usually sign the official tour programme as part of the package you get. In that package is also a special gift from them to you. You also get to keep you tour laminate.

Presents are mostly gathered by the crew before going in (for security reasons). Il Divo doesn't expect presents but they do like receiving them.

No. The M&G picture is taken by a photographer booked by the local concert organiser.

It depends on local organisation.

Firstly do research the place your thinking of going to, is it accessible? Check out the venue try and get a hotel as close as you can to venue, city sights etc.
If you're travelling alone, great, but travelling with someone is safer and a lot more fun!

Enjoy the concert!

We wouldn't recommend this but the choice is yours. The safest way is to telephone the venue and speak to a member of staff.

Yes, if tickets go on sale at a certain time start ringing the venue, good luck!

Check with the venue, they will be able to tell you all about accessibility arrangements as well.

No, because divas get up and dance and (accidentally) block your view.

No, this is a separate upgrade. The choice to upgrade or not is yours.

When you first arrive you go to the check in desk to register, then you're met by your Live Nation representative. They recommend that you have a carer to help if your in a wheelchair. You're then taken to meet Il Divo.
